The Crow (1994)


A year after he and his fiancee are brutally murdered on Halloween, a young rock singer named Eric Draven comes back from the dead to “put the wrong things right”. What follows is two bloody nights of revenge as Eric tracks down the gang responsible and kills them one by one. Based on the comic of the same name by James O’Barr, The Crow is one of the first faithful comic book adaptations, and arguably one of the best. Continue reading


Trancers (1984)


Way back in a mystical time known as “The 80s”, Charles Band’s Empire Pictures launched a series of instacult-classic flicks such as Ghoulies, Re-Animator, From Beyond, Troll, and TerrorVision.  It would still be a few years before Empire Pictures sadly went out of business and morphed into Full Moon Pictures, at which point Charles Band’s obsession with diminutive killers fully consumed him. But, before all that happened, Charles gave us the B-movie goodness that is Trancers. Continue reading

We Are the Flesh (2016)



We Are the Flesh is the story of two homeless teens who take shelter with a madman in a derelict building. He is a Coffin Joe type person spouting out pretentious nonsense the whole film and trying to corrupt the two into doing very lewd things. And he succeeds. I have been debating for the past week on whether or not to write about We Are The Flesh. I hesitated for fear of drawing attention towards it. However, some of the larger horror websites have wrote glowing or semi-positive reviews of the film. The damage is done, all I can do is give another opinion. Continue reading
